Afterhours Medical Service

Also located at the Friendly Society Private Hospital is the Friendlies Afterhours Medical Service (FAHMS); which serves as an Afterhours General Practice surgery. Sickness and injuries can strike at any time of the day or week so it is comforting to know that you have access to a doctor when your regular Doctor’s surgery is closed without having to make an appointment.
The Friendlies Afterhours Medical Service (FAHMS) can be found to the right side of the hospital’s front entrance and is clearly signed. The centre is modern, well equipped and is attended by highly competent resident Medical Doctors, General Practitioners and Nursing staff.

The Friendlies Afterhours Medical Service (FAHMS) is not an Emergency Service, in the event of an emergency please dial 000.
If you feel unwell upon arrival at the surgery, please advise the Receptionist as you may need to lie down and should you require a hospital admission, the Friendly Society Private Hospital accepts both non-insured patients and patients covered by private health insurance.
