  • Behave in a way that upholds FSPH’s values, integrity and good reputation.

  • Ensure proper use of FSPH resources at all times.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of FSPH and its clients.
  • Maintain conduct free from alcohol or substance abuse / misuse and which helps maintain the personal work performances and safety of self and others.

The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000, which commenced on 21st December 2001, protects your rights with respect to personal information we may hold about you.

The Friendly Society Private Hospital is sensitive to privacy issues and we respect the ongoing trust that our patients, family and care providers have placed in us to protect their personal information. 

Your personal information enables us to provide you with quality healthcare and can only be accessed by authorised employees of the Friendly Society Private Hospital, except where we rely on third party service providers to carry out specialised activities, in which case your personal information may be disclosed to them to enable them to act on your behalf.

Please contact us if you would like to seek access to or correct any of the personal information that we hold about you, or if you have concerns about how we have handled your personal information.  We will respond promptly and will deal with your concerns in any reasonable way you request.

The Friendly Society Private Hospital does not release personal information to any other body for the purpose of mailing lists.
